Contractor Disclosure

4 Local Homes delivers home renovation and improvement services across multiple Canadian and U.S. cities through a hybrid operating model that includes:
- In-house employees and installation teams
- Authorized subcontractor partners operating under the 4 Local Homes brand
Subcontractor Model
In certain locations, your project may be performed partially or entirely by subcontractor partners. These partners:
- Meet licensing, insurance, and compliance requirements
- Follow our brand standards, installation guidelines, and project protocols
- Are vetted and approved by our operational team
- Are coordinated through our project management system
Subcontractor involvement does not change your contractual relationship with 4 Local Homes. You engage directly with us, and we oversee service delivery.
Licensing & Compliance
Each subcontractor team is responsible for maintaining active licensing per local regulations. 4 Local Homes verifies compliance as part of our onboarding and periodic review process.
Quality Assurance
All subcontractor work follows 4 Local Homes’ quality standards. We conduct internal quality checks, review work performance, and enforce corrective measures when necessary.
Liability & Warranty
- 4 Local Homes remains responsible for your project, regardless of whether subcontractors are involved.
- Workmanship warranties may be executed by either our in-house team or the subcontractor partner, depending on who performed the work.
- Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials used.
Transparency
If subcontractors will be part of your project, we may disclose this verbally or in writing upon request, while still maintaining operational oversight and brand consistency.
